Global Warming

Global warming, maybe most of us already about global warming from the information that we can through various media will be but usually are discussed in a very large scale policy.
Global warming is the increase of temperature average of the atmosphere, ocean and the Earth's land. Planet Earth has warmed (and cooled) many times over the 4.65 billion-year history. At this time, the Earth is warming rapidly, scientists are thought to be caused by human activities. The main cause of this warming is the burning of fuels such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas, which produces carbon dioxide and other gases known as greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. When the atmosphere increasingly rich in greenhouse gases, it is increasingly becoming an insulator that holds more heat emitted from the Sun to Earth
The impact of global warming we now experience such as:

The melting of ice in the polar north & south pole

We've often heard about the melting ice at the poles of the earth.Global warming has a direct impact on the continued melting of ice in the polar regions north and south poles. Ice melting in Greenland has almost reached 19 million tons! And the volume of ice in the Arctic in the summer of 2007 only half of the existing 4 years earlier! The melting ice is currently running much faster than forecast models ever created by scientists. Some early predictions have been made previously estimated that the polar ice caps will disappear by the year 2040 to 2100. But the annual ice data were recorded until 2007 to make them think again about the model predictions have been made previously

Rising sea level

The melting of ice in the polar north and south poles have a direct impact on rising sea levels. Experts estimate when all of Greenland melts. Sea level will rise up to 7 meters! Enough to sink the entire beach, harbor, and the lowlands around the world.

Climate / weather gets extreme

The impact of global warming we already feel, with a marked number of natural change, extreme weather and so on. The pattern of rainfall change can be predicted without causing flooding in one place, but drought in others. Typhoons and tropical storms will emerge with a new trend of increasingly stronger. We can already see the effect on the environment around us. We certainly realize how hot the temperature around We at this time.We can also see how much is unpredictable when the arrival of the rainy season or drought that resulted in losses for the farmers because of the growing season should be done in the dry season turned out to rain. In recent years, we more often hit by the storms which disrupt shipping and transportation by sea and air.

Heat waves become more malignant

Global warming cause heat waves become more frequent and more powerful. Year 2007 is a new record-breaking year for the temperature reached by the usual heat wave hit the United States.St. area. George, Utah holds the record with the highest temperature reached 48o Celsius. Temperatures in St.. George was followed by Las Vegas and Nevada that reaches 47o Celsius, as well as several other cities in the United States that the average temperature is above 40o Celsius. Death Valley area in California even had time to record the temperature of 53o Celsius! Heat wave of attacks this time even forced the government in several states to declare a state of emergency standby I. Attacks that year took some of the victims died (due to heat), turn off the hundreds of freshwater fish, damaging crops, triggering a severe forest fire, and killed farm animals.

Glacier-ending World Water Resources
The melting of glaciers threatens the world's water supply, and in the long run will contribute to an increase in world sea levels. And unfortunately that's what happened today. Glaciers now melting world to the point of worrying! NASA noted that from 1960 to 2005 alone, the number of glaciers in different parts of the world who lost no less than 8,000 cubic meters! NASA scientists have now realized that the melting glaciers, melting ice at both poles of the earth, the earth's global temperature increases, until the rising of sea level is the evidence that the planet Earth is being constantly heated. And ensured that the race of men that are responsible for this.

Some of the causes of global warming include:

1. Forest fires
Forests used to be called THE LUNGS THE WORLD, is no longer. Many people do just burning forests to clear land for new housing or to be made in the fields.
2. Illegal Logging
Illegal logging (illegal logging) that never-ending. Just to catch a lot of material benefits, people are willing to cut down forests without reforestation.
3. Greenhouse Effect
Just imagine the whole world uses greenhouses to grow crops. How much sunlight will bounce back so that the greenhouse effect of ozone (lining of the earth) became corrupted, a big hole.
4. Air Pollution
And factory fumes containing CO (Carbon Monoxide) is very dangerous for the environment.
5. Air freshener (aerosol)
Presumed not to perfume the room but actually damaging our natural and ozone.

There are some simple ways we may easily do to reduce the impact of global warming, among others:
(1) Conserve electricity by turning off all electronic equipment when not in use
(2) Select equipment and electronics that are energy efficient lamps
(3) When the sun shines avoid using the dryer, clothesline and let the garment dry naturally
(4) Conserve water, use water to taste
(5) Use of excess water washing vegetables and fruits for watering plants
(6) Immediately fix a leaky faucet
(7) Disposing of waste in place
(8)  Utilizing items can be recycled
(9) Plant a tree

Therefore start from now we love, protect and maintain our natural, our earth with simple ways, ranging from ourselves to our current survival and future for the next generation

  1. everybody should have a small utility box of some sort in their shop or garage filled with samples of different types of labeled metals. Scrap Metal Recyclers
